The classroom itself is set up into various centers for the kids to engage in imaginative play. There is a kitchen area, building area, dress-up area, puzzle and reading area, and a sand table. There are tables for the students to work with play-doh and on the class project of the day. As well as art easels for painting or drawing. Each class takes turns displaying their art work on the big bulletin board, as well as in the hallway. There is also a bulletin board shared by both classes to display the theme that each class will be talking about. Our school has access to the working kitchen in the building for projects that require an oven, such as the apple pies that the children make after their field trip to the apple orchard, and a Harvest Soup which they make around Thanksgiving. We also have our own bathroom right inside the classroom.
